Rocks are thrown directly onto the double coat. A pigment can be used in the cement to help determine the colour. The texture of the stucco is achieved by the size of aggregate used.
This style can be applied with a
traditional cement finish material over sand and
cement scratch coat. It can also be applied with
acrylic material over an acrylic finished wall.
Has a limited range of texture – usually a sand float finish, and comes in a wide range of colours. It is applied on top of the scratch and double up coat.
Combines Stucco Cladding with Polystyrene Insulating Foam and is available in a wide range of colours and textures. This style is found in both commercial and residential buildings. EIFS is also energy efficient and used for decorative finishes and mouldings.
